NLC encapsulation for ingredients that don't mix with water.
BioGntx's IP-based NLC platform supports the R&D-scale development of encapsulated prototypes for selected oil-based, hydrophobic, and amphiphilic active ingredients.
We help partners evaluate whether NLC-based encapsulation can improve practical formulation characteristics such as water-compatible dispersion, physical stability, prototype handling, particle-size control, and compatibility with the intended product format before larger development, scale-up, or licensing commitments are made.
Using oils, water, emulsifiers, and controlled processing, BioGntx develops tailored NLC prototypes that allow difficult ingredients to be tested in relevant product environments. The goal is to generate practical formulation data that helps clients decide whether to stop, iterate, continue development, or explore licensing and co-development.
The result is a testable R&D prototype that can help clients assess dispersion, stability, protection, and product-format compatibility.
