This Cookie Policy explains how biogntx.com uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies. It applies to all visitors, with specific reference to citizens and legal permanent residents of the European Economic Area and Switzerland.
01
Introduction
Our website, https://biogntx.com (hereinafter: "the website") is operated by BioGntx and runs on a Next.js application hosted by us. We keep tracking to the minimum required to understand how the site is used: only strictly-necessary cookies are set by default, and Google Tag Manager (together with any analytics tags it loads) is strictly opt-in via the cookie preferences panel. We do not run advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking on this website.
02
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It may be returned to the website on subsequent visits so the site can remember things such as the language you selected. Cookies cannot run programs and cannot deliver viruses or malware.
03
What are scripts?
A script is a piece of program code that runs in your browser so the website works and is interactive. Two privacy-relevant scripts are referenced from this site: (1) the open-source Klaro consent manager, which we bundle and serve from our own domain so no third-party request is made; and (2) Google Tag Manager (container `GTM-MVND09LVS8`), which is loaded from `googletagmanager.com` only after you opt in to analytics.
04
What is a web beacon?
A web beacon (or pixel tag) is a small, invisible image or piece of text used by some websites to monitor visitor behaviour. We do not use any web beacons or pixel trackers on this website.

Categories of cookies
5.1 Strictly-necessary (functional) cookies
These cookies are required for the website to work and to remember basic preferences such as your selected language and your cookie choices. They do not track you across sites and cannot be switched off here, because the site would not work correctly without them. They are placed without consent under the ePrivacy Directive exemption for cookies that are strictly necessary.
5.2 Statistics cookies
We use Google Tag Manager (container `GTM-MVND09LVS8`) as the loader for analytics tags that help us understand, on an aggregated basis, how the website is used so we can improve it. GTM and any tags it loads (such as Google Analytics) are strictly opt-in: nothing is loaded and no analytics cookies are set until you accept the "Statistics" purpose in the cookie preferences panel. Data is processed by Google LLC; an EU–US data transfer mechanism applies.
5.3 Marketing / tracking cookies
Marketing or tracking cookies are used to build user profiles, show personalised advertising or follow you across other websites. We do not set any marketing or tracking cookies, do not run advertising on this website and do not share data with ad networks.

We ask for your consent before loading anything beyond strictly-necessary cookies. The first time you visit the site you will see a consent notice; you can change your mind at any time via the preferences panel. Strictly-necessary cookies are placed without consent under the ePrivacy Directive's "strictly necessary" exemption.
7.1 Manage your preferences
You can review the cookies that are currently set at any time by opening the preferences panel: .
Strictly-necessary cookies cannot be turned off here because the site would not work correctly without them. They can still be cleared via your browser (see below).
08
Disabling and deleting cookies in your browser
All modern browsers let you view, block or delete the cookies stored on your device. You can usually find these options in the privacy or security section of your browser's settings. You can also configure your browser to warn you each time a cookie is placed.
If you clear or block the cookies listed above, your language and cookie preferences will be forgotten and you may be asked to set them again on your next visit.
